Many years ago I was working for IPC when two of its publications decided to feature the same character in different guises [Dan Dare].The publication I was working for decided to start some sort of insane rivalry by introducing a ridiculous Judge Dredd type character in a really stupid story written by Tom Tully.This, together with extreme editorial interference as to the style of the artwork, led to the result you see above.Which pleased no-one, least of all me.
